This is a serious issue playing this class. I’m talking for the WvW mode since Rev got stomped in PvP. I dont understand why this class is getting nerfs (some were ok-ish) while huge bugs arent solved. The pre-nerf skills just compensated the enormous bugs!
- Precision Strike: still aims at non exsisting Objects or sth else (The heal-backpack at sentries, the ballistas above gates which arent even there, walls, walls, walls, flowers) instead of an enemy
- Unrelenting Assault: still aims at non exsisting Objects or sth else (The heal-backpack at sentries, the ballistas above gates which arent even there, walls, walls, walls, flowers) instead of an enemy
- Unrelenting Assault: impossible to go roaming in WvW without meeting some condition spammer, 5 stacks of confusion + UA? say goodbye! It still hits you every hit!
- Phase Smash: Shouldnt this be like shadowstep? ignoring all the Guard-lines and static fields? Pretty unclear.
- Forced Engagement: Is NOT a projectile, though gets reflected so I get taunted. If its not a projectile, just make it similar to the Mesmer greatsword autoattack or Druid staff autoattack.
- Vengeful Hammers: They still disappear in narrow passages. Its the only skill which is completly useless when you defend a keep, for example Overlook on EB (the narrow steps), and they disappear as soon as you cast it. Your opponent is standing close to a wall? Well, they will just disappear too. If you are afraid of them casting through a gate, you should take a look at eles meteor, no one cares about casts through gates.
- Inspiring Reinforcement: If you got swiftness on, and lag a bit due to player numbers (just a tiny lag) you wont get one stability buff if running forward.
- Phase Traversal: Gets also stopped by Guard-lines, static fields etc. Look at thief, there it works.
I like the class. I dont know if devs actually try to solve those bugs, never saw an answer to any of those threads. The class is now ~1 year old, and we have major bugs. Please fix those instead of nerfing it to the ground. The nerfs might be justified, but those skills actually helped to compensate those bugs (there are more, those are just which I feel every day, every hour of playing this class).
