Celestial roamer WvW build.
I found the celestial build to be a bit lacking in the damage department. I played mine as full celestial for a little bit and it didn’t ever die really but it didn’t put out enough damage to be worth while in my opinion.

Never had a problem with damage as long as it’s not celestial druids or celestial eles (haven’t seen eles in a while though), the only build I could 3v1 (and even 5v1 once on a camp) with ease thanks to it’s tricky way to deal damage people aren’t used to.
Huh, invocation marauder+zerk revenant? Feels like playing spvp again.
Celestial rev is lightweight godmode. I find the damage to be just fine in full cele, though personally I swap in zerker trinks and weps since I feel I still have invulnerability level survival.
I dunno how important staff is for you, but I’ve done extensive testing with these new raid DPS golems and found mace has the highest mainhand dps in celestial if you take advantage of the ferocity through Roiling Mists (combination of condi+crits make for a ton of additive damage). It sounds loose at first, I thought mace would be unusable, but numbers don’t lie. So mace/axe and sword /shield could be a consideration if you aren’t leaning heavily on staff.

Well, first of all it’s survivability and CC. 3 and 4 will let you live more and cleanse some condis, while 5 will also give you a chance to put some confusion on your enemy if you interrupt them (with runes of perplexity). I like mace’s 1 but 2 and 3 are often useless since good players are used to avoiding it’s AoEs. Not to mention 3 is so slow, one could dodge it twice.
CC in combo with 2 and 3? Maybe, but it’s not like you manage to combo your opponent too often.
