Condi Revenant runes and sigils
I would say its safe to say that QT has tested several options and then posted what they felt was “best”. But that said it doesn’t mean you, or others, can’t go out and try your own thing! That’s what its all about, testing and trying different options and such, so go nuts mate.
And then come back and share!
I’ve tested couple variations of it and Berserker runes with Smoldering/Geomancy look the best indeed.
The one missing thing from the qT guide is the fact that you can run second Axe/Mace on other weapon set with Hydromancy sigil on to proc double swap sigils for that extra bit of damage every 10 seconds.

On swap sigil didn’t proc only for the new set swapped?
Keep in mind QT posts builds that usually use top tier food. I don’t know about you but I’d rather build myself so I can run cheap provisioner food for stuff like t4 fractals.
The thing with Zerker runes is that your mace skills do almost twice as much direct damage (even more if you make sure to let your aa chain finish) as the base weapon skills of the condi classes that you see running Thorns/Nightmare/Earth/Geo (Ranger/non-GS Necro). So, the extra Power and 5% direct damage boost make a pretty noticeable difference, especially because you’re spinning your Jalis hammers 1/2 the time.
It’s the same reason you see DPS Condi War’s run zerker runes or GS Condi Necros.

Revenant, much like Necromancer, has access to double swap. Activating main profession mechanic (F1 Invoke here) triggers weapon swap sigils on your current weapon set, then you can swap weapons to trigger sigils on the other weapon set.
As long as the swap sigils are different, both will trigger. You simply do Invoke->weapon swap. Hydromancy is the second best sigil after Geomancy because in addition to solid direct damage it will also trigger Abyssal Chill trait and apply Torment.
I’ve seen people mentioning Doom sigil instead, but it’s single target and can easily get wasted by hitting random mob with jalis’ hammer for example. And it does no direct damage.

Why then they don’t put a Hydromancy sigil in necro’s set?
Could it be a dps increase or a waste of dps for the actual rotation?

The necro rotation uses shroud immediately after swapping into GS so that you can have time to GS2 combo whirl DS5’s ice field and so that you don’t have to spend anytime auto attacking with your GS. If you tried to work the DS part of the rotation BEFORE swapping to GS to gain an extra sigil proc, you’d end up losing dps by having to GS auto attack instead of stacking Burns with Dhuumfire.
This would work for Rev’s though… Although then you wouldn’t be bringing any cc to the fight outside of chills, axe 5 and I guess, Jalis chains.
@Vitali
Hydromancy on a necro warhorn or second dagger is fine if you are running a non GS reaper build (old build/when you need to run blood to medic the group). The current GS/Sc/Dhuumfire rotation has very specific timing on weapon swap/RS that prevents hydromancy from being worth it.
@Main topic
So looking at the qT benchmarks, burning and torment are about ~31-34% of the damage each. Poison is ~10% and Bleed/geomancy is ~5%. Poison is capped but burning/torment going from 92% to 100%… really quick and dirty math 65% of the damage x 2/1.92 = 67.7%. So malice boosts burning and torment by 2.7% but you lose 5% of your damage from geomancy so at first it doesn’t look better… vs a golem. Few sinister pieces but more so the fact that torment should do more damage vs moving targets in real raid scenarios… it’ll be really close.
Hi guys,
@FullMetalToast: could you please post your build?. Moreover, any help with dps rotation would be of great help – thanks in advance

Can hydromancy and geomancy sigils be put on same weapon set? I am trying to find sigils for my hammer.

Yes, they can. I had those two equipped on my mace and axe for a bit and they would both proc simultaneously upon weapon and legend swap.
