Hi! I leveled a condi rev and got him full ascended gear for raids and fractals. Now I face a problem, in high level fractals and open world I’ve got no ranged option. And that’s frustrating, because in some fractals or encounters in open world I just can’t do anything. I know that we have the hammer, but is it worth as condi? Should I get an ascended viper one? Or a berserker one? Or which other thing can I use? I saw the post about the blowgun, but it’s a bit… odd and I don’t exactly like it. And it’s damage its not that great. What do you use in ranged situations?

Maybe I should get an exotic berserker gear only for open world, but in fractals I won’t have ranged either way. Should I get an ascended berserker gear for fractals maybe?

just get a berserker’s hammer if you really do need ranged.

Mace 2, Mace 3, and Axe 5 are all ranged… And if you really want to keep kiting beyond that you can always just spam Banish Enchantment.

Aside from what the guy above me posted. I think you need to wait for the next expansion bow weapon. Or maybe try hammer to fill the gaps as it is now. Not really much tbh.

If you gear to condi then you hammer damage will be meaningless. And your condi damage will happen only with crits (too random) and chills from Phase Smash.

Which is why condi Rev lacks range game: mace and axe “ranged damage” doesn’t work if your foe can fight at range and doesn’t need to stay in an area (like the control points in PvP).
