Am I missing something or is this a very limited profession in build diversity? No weapon swap? Utility skills all determined by legend?

Ele no weapon swap works because you have attunements giving 4x weapon skills and you can freely choose between 6-10. Engi works because of kits and the toolbelt skills, and again being able to freely choose between 6-10.

If I can’t choose between 6-10 freely and it’s tied to my legend….plus I have a resource to manage and no weapon swap…I just feel horribly trapped.

Please tell me I’m missing something

Maybe because the class isn’t entirely complete. I think more legends (at least one more) need to be put in, thus more specializations. Just a guess.

Even if thats the case,

making Shiro our savior will pretty much force us to use him for 1 of our 2 Legends, and take up 1 of our three Specializations..

Thats a band-aid patch. Because what about the crappyness of the other legends, weapons, and skills? Should they stay crappy because Shiro may be good alone?

That reduces our customization even more!!!

I can tell you right now, unless I’m doing hardcore content that needs some healing being thrown out. I will be using Shiro + Jalis.

Mallyx is awful in PvE because you have to rely on enemies putting conditions on you to deal extra damage back.

Ventari is alright if your team is having trouble, but he doesn’t have a lot of damage to mix in with the healing support, because if your team isn’t in need of healing you can’t camp in your other legend because you’ll need to get energy back up.

Well there’s always a possibility that Glint might become one and we get some crazy main weap like Focus or Warhorn. So far Rev (aside from Mes) is the class that is being known for using main weaps in new ways. I want to see what the new weap will bring.
