Every class has a ranged condi weapon except rev. If not a seperate weapon would it even be possible to change hammer into a hybrid with 2 basic attacks like underwater spear. one for power and one for condi. I love rev but sometimes it feels like half a class.

Nerfnant is supposed to be broken, unifnished and in beta state with tons of bugs. Enjoy your stay!

As you pointed out, rev does have a ranged condi weapon, underwater.

I believe some condi traits that aren’t rubbish in pve would be great while we’re at it.

Problem here:
Rev already have midrange-Condi-skills.

Mace/Axe + Mallx offers enogh range and Aoe, you wont need Meleerange or autoattack.
410 range from Mace 2
410+Leaprange from Mace 3
900 Range on Axe Offhand 5
600+240(Radius) from Mallyx, Unyielding Angiush
All of them are more or less huge AOE.

So an range-condi-weapon could only be singletarget.
And you had to change all these Midrange AoEs to more meleebased variants.

I would say for both, guardian and rev they are getting their ranged condi weapons in the next elite spec.
For rev i would say greatsword would be nice.
For guardian i would say, first change torch 5 to condi dmg and applying burn and second give guardian a new ranged condi weapon on elite spec. Warhorn would be a new twist with condi and support or axe as a ranged burn condi weapon.

Hammer needs to stay full power, or put condi on every ability. I really dislike any weapon that has some Power abilities, some condi abilities, and some that do both. You can’t gear for that weapon.

Scepter, Pistol, Shortbow… those should be the condi weapons.

I also think next Espec may give a ranged condi weapon, along with an new legend based on the weapon :
-Scepter with Togo or Varesh Ossa
-Shortbow for Eir, Aidan or Urgoz
-Sword for Kanaxai (yeah range sword is weird but who would have expected ranged hammer)

I’m so glad to see people talking more about condi rev. It’s such a fun spec, but it feels completely unsupported. Please polish the class to give us more build diversity!

No class will get any new weapon until another round of elite specs is deployed unfortunately.
We can only hope they “fix” what revenant has now, this class is still a work in progress.

Hybrid DPS weapons suck in PvE.

Hammer sucks anyway in PvE, so i wont care if they would change it to an hybrid dps.
But instead of that, they should make condimallyx melee useful in pve.

It doesn’t suck in PvE. It’s the power weapon you use in any circumstance you need to go ranged, which is not uncommon with Wyvern or Chak Gerent or any highly upscaled dynamic event where the champs can pretty much 1-shot your berzerker revenant.

Just because you don’t use it in raids or dungeons doesn’t mean it’s useless. It also sees its use in the underground facility fractal.

So, yeah, go ruin some other weapon by making it hybrid.
