Anyone have any tips against them? I have won a duel against maybe one, others just seem to have too many AoE fields to cope with. I read the meta page and there just seems to be lots of cheap mechanics all over. Looks like I should save unrelenting assault for when they’re under 25% health since their healing abilities will regenerate.

Unless they sux balls you wont win vs one as condi. Too much sustain, too many condi clears+they hit like a truck with their spamable abilities (funny how UA had cd increased to 12..)

What if I run power with Glint/Shiro and staff in place of mace/axe?

You can beat them on mallyx/shiro and Shiro/Glint. If your using condi try to use unyielding anguish along with Embrace the darkness for passive torment stacking. Strip their boons with banish enchantment. If your using viper your sword will still do good damage. Especially if its paired Enchanting daggers.

Going against them depends on necklace and play style. So when facing them, always avoid their hammer skill 5 the lighting field. And open up attack starting with cc skills pref skill 5 on axe hen skill 4 and drop skill 8 from glint coz u want to have weakness burn and ice on them. Facet of darkness if they went invis mid fight not starting the fight coz they normally be will knock you down. And spam skill 3 on sword, skill 2 then auto attack rotation. I’ve beaten allot of them in rank and I also play as a Scrapper.

If they are smart, they wll do the same fooling you with invs gyro then walking around you just until you pop skill 5 and facet. They can go toe to toe against shiro stance coz of their skill 4 blocking and attack. That skill always used on a oh kitten moment.

Even if they pop their shield I just hit them with phase travel for a few unblockable attacks. Also save Facet of Darkness for when their low on HP. Most of the time they will pop stealth gyro and bail but just hit the active and use the 5s of revealed to finish the job. Its more fun with mallyx. I love watching the torment stacks finish them off as they run away.

This is a learn to play thread not a xyz thing is broken thread. Everyone says revenant is very OP so the tools to deal with scrapper and tempest should be there. I run staff + sword and sword with Glint and Shiro and take advantage of my interrupts but there are simply some classes that are tougher than others. I have a harder time against some druids than other revs though.

Power rev should be fine vs scrapper, but scrapper also has all neccesary tools to beat viper mallyx/shiro tho. Its pretty much all down to build wars. Feels weird when i struggle vs scrappers on viper while i faceroll them on base ranger (lb+gs) on a point. That said scrapper sustain is insane for the amount of damage they does and unlike us they dont suffer from being weak to condi at all nor enemies being stupid enough to burst in glint heal.
