Devastation line
Staff 5 plus Dismantle Fortifications has the potential to strip up to 18 stacks of stability from a single target, depending on positioning.
Remember, it’s a 9 strike attack, each strike inflicts knockback, and each strike can hit up to 3 different targets.
Assuming you will land all hits, most likely you strip 2-4 stacks before you pass them. And that is.
I should mention that i plan to use sword/sword+hammer for future beta and sword/sword+sword/shield on release
I would actually use faster attacks, might on use and siphoning for Mace/Sword Mallyx/Shiro.
As far as I remember, that Shiro might trait doesn’t require combat. So I will just slot Hoelbrak runes and spam Odds OOC to stack might.

Ferocity is not that great in pvp since you won’t get much critical rate.
Having said that I still agree on the Master trait (even if Jade Echo may be taken into consideration if Revenant has low survivability).
The 2 unblockable attacks however look very good in the Adept slot.
Also the GrandMaster that removes stability may be pretty good on Necromancers, but yeah, 20% more damage is the best.
Siphon is just from side, so you won’t be using it too much in 1vs1.

Why not str rune at this point? Longer might duration after all+bonus damage under might.

I am playing with zerk amulet. That is about 46% crit chance+30% from trained fury. About 52% or so with marauder. Ferocity seems useful for me
Unblockable may be good vs a engi/war (anyone still uses shield?), but its actually quite useless against guardian. Most likely your unblockable attacks end up on cd while you will need them to rupt shelter. For example against other guardians i use binding blade to rupt their shelter.
Idk about that side, after i gave an example with ranger shortbow that still seems to apply bleeds despite the fact that they are not attacking you from the side technically.. I face them but i still get applied bleeds. That needs to be tested ingame once next beta start but otherwise..yeah +20% damage will be a nobrainer if the siphon happen to sux
46+30 is just 76. As I said is fine if you have no alternatives, but Fury uptime on Revenant is terrible and 1 hit in pvp is a huge chunk of hp. Doing 1 extra hit is actually better then doing 5% more damage sometimes, that’s why sigils of air and fire are populare in pvp and terrible in pve (don’t ask me why the price is so high, it makes no sense)

“just”? Thats a lot actually. As for the price…wvw?
yeah, forgot about wvw.
However that rate is relatively a lot, but a 5% increased damage, as I said, may be inferior compared to 1 extra hit that bypasses a block, at least in pvp.
