Did Unrelenting Assault take a hit?
Critted for around 16k just yesterday…
Critted for around 8k just today…
Crit for 18.5k just then.
You realize that there are a ton of variables that effect how much unrelenting assault does right?
How many of the 7 hits crit
How much health does the mob have (swift termination)
How many stacks of might do you have
How many stacks of vuln does the mob have
How many boons do you have (elder’s force)
The amount of damage you do can vary wildly depending on all these factors.
still works pretty well for me, but I think as a community for this new class we need to brace ourselves for a nerf, because I think it will happen, given Anet’s track record.
There’s plenty call for it in the PvP sub forum:

Considering Unrelenting Assault is the only skill in the Revenant’s kitten nal that does more damage than a dust mite being thrown at the target, if it gets nerfed, I wouldn’t be surprised if lots of people put down Revenant for good.
They could just make it so that if the first hit misses/gets blocked, then all 7 will miss, so the Revenant just gets the evades, and the opponent only has to dodge once, at the correct time to negate the entire attack rather than dropping it’s damage.
They cant really nerf ua other than get rid of might stacks. Any nerf to ua will break the skill and sword in general as there is nothing else really. Its rapid fire qq all over again.
Playing Smite since mid s2, f broken gw2.
I could see them putting more of the damage to the last few hits as a first step (if they feel the need to change anything). It would give it a slight DPS increase in PvE but make it so a well timed dodge would be more beneficial in PvP.
Honestly, if updates are going to come in larger packages and slower, I’d hate for them to kill the skill for 3+ months.
Increasing damages from first to the last hits while keeping the overall dps seems to be a good compromise for PvP and PvE.
