Echoing Eruption Issue
I too think it should be reverted. If you want it to function like it currently does you could have just used it with no target at all. The current version just makes the skill unreliable and feel like garbage. I’ll just use that energy on axe 4 now instead, it will always land and put on 2 torment,chill, and slow covering my autos.
I had issues with the way it was before, but its current state feels extremely clunky as well. My suggestions for it would be to either make it stationary, decrease the cast time, or both. The way it is now feels very unpolished. The leap looks great animation-wise but is very awkward mechanically, and there’s not much of a point in moving just a tiny bit forward unless Anet doesn’t want us to reliably blast Mace 2 twice.

I don’t understand the reason for the change. I preferred the old method.
With 3/4 second cast it’s really terrible to use right now. Awkward radius, awkward range… It wasn’t really the best skill before, but after this change I think people will completely avoid it in PvP situations. Too much of a liability when using it.
I also agree that it should be changed back. I don’t know why it was changed to the way it is now. I’ve been learning to try to aim it but usually I just use it to make people use a dodge or stack might.
The leap part messes it up, it should leap at the target since it only needs to hit once now anyway.
Add a short evade to the leap, a short CC on the first (or all) blasts, or get rid of the leap entirely and just give it a new animation.
It currently doesn’t feel impactful enough to lock yourself into the leap animation.
Why was the homing in removed anyway? the way it’s now, the description i nothing more than a lie.
