I really wish glint was a base legend. In the future if we want to pick a new elite specizalation one day we will lose our shield, permanent fury, permanent swiftness, might stacks, and the great traits that go with it all at once. Glint really feels like a legend that needs to be part of revenants in my opinion and removing it would really hurt the class a lot.

Noone Forces you to pick the Elite Spec after Glint. If you prefer Herald, you can stay Herald until Guild Wars 2 Servers shut down.

It is a Specialization tree, u could in actual fact use 2 Different elites at the very same time, it’ll never actually be removed for a new elite.. a new elite would be added on not replacing.

Glint will not be used on every build, I doubt any Shiro or Mallyx build will run glint, its a Supportive defencesive tree, if ur aiming for damage u wont use it tbh, u have no need to share buffs to ur party if ur aiming to be the Damager tbh.

personally it just comes down to Herald not feeling like an elite spec at all. very passive. In fact should have been baseline like the OP say. Works better with Vetari and Hammer which have no connections

Sorry you did not understand it correctly. The third spot on the build tree can only equip an elite spec. So you can only ever have 1 elite spec.
