Hi Guys, im woundering where i went wrong, i play very casually and focus on the stories, i’ve played most stories with my alts
Guardian
Necro
Ranger
Engineer (which is by far the most fun)

But when i try with the revenant i tend to get stuck in Glint (switching to Malyx or Jalis occasionally for the hammers/elite) having facets up, rotating them as fit to get the most out of them.
using sword & board + hammer if i need to back off

but here’s the thing, i get my kitten handed to me in Story mode, never really happened to me on another class before. im having trouble mitigating condition damage, and generally just staying alive..

im used to playing the engineer so i have no problem with being active and playing the piano, but with the rev it doesnt seem to help….

any advice?

More Info about your build/weapons would be helpful. Try the meta rev though. Revenant isnt doing well with its condition builds atm, the powerbuilds are ok do deal damage. If youre talking about PvE you should not have problems at all since rev got nothing in perfection but can do everything on average. So with Glint/Shiro you just autohit with sword and everything goes down.

I use hammer/staff in all play as full zerker glint/shiro.

But my staff is magi with sigil of renewal and cleansing. So when I need to I swap to staff and hit 4 to heal and purge.

Your problem is that hammer is garbage without shiro in my opinion. You would almost be better off with staff swap.

Always be specific when you are asking for help. What build and gear do you use? Which story mission is hard to beat? What mob is killing you? If you have problems with condi and survival, did you try to do solve that in any way? Without such information you’re probably not gonna get some good advices.
