Give us more ways of dealing with condi pls.
I agree that burning and confusion need to be toned down, especially burning. I think making burns last longer but reducing their tick damage would be best. As it is, burning can rival zerk builds with the amount of damage it does in a short amount of time.
Condition builds can have their main stat as survivability all while dishing out tons of condi burst still where as power based builds need to focus on power precision and sometimes ferocity and then survivability. Thought the idea of condition damage was supposed to be a dot damage not burst. Just give us some more clears please!
As title says. Can we please have some more condi clears or access to resistance. It is getting to the point where roaming in wvw is just not fun anymore. As it is I have to run 4 sigils that clear condis on wep swap etc… I can’t switch weapons or legend stances in a fight until i have condis on me otherwise I am wasting the little condi removal I have. This is a huge handicap and not fair at all. I have not given up on this class since it came out but I am getting very close.. I can’t even fight a condi mesmer when they stack me up with confusions unless I can mange to clear it before all of the other condis otherwise I will just kill myself. All I can do is run until the confusion is gone and then go back in to get more lol.
Maybe make condi clears and condi clear sigils remove the highest damaging condis before anything else? I also think burning and confusion should be toned down as they are just op as hell.
PvP builds are making there way into wvw (much much more bunker and stronger condi) and they are just so dam boring to fight. Sustain wars 2!!

I totally agree, especially condi mes with confusion. You’re left waiting half the time for them to stack as many condi on you before trying to clear it. In the meantime you’re running around like a headless chicken because attacking is only going to kill you.

No a while there might be a problem with roaming in WvW this is nothing new. WvW roaming has always been dominated by condi bunker builds.
Ramping up condi cleanse in the current meta build would be brokenly OP.

What annoys me is that condi not only takes less skill, but a player only has to focus on one stat for their damage and the rest on being tanky, as opposed to someone playing as power that has to sacrifice so much more to not hit like wet noodle. I believe that in order to do massive damage you should be taking a lot of damage particularly in a 1v1, instead of just swinging your **** back and forth blindly, letting your condis do the work while taking next to no damage from a power class doing twice the work.
Conditions need to be toned down in general with either how quickly it can be applied or how quickly it can down someone. Its baffling how something meant to deal damage over time can melt players within seconds when stacked up as it currently is.
I don’t agree with all of this personally that rev lacks condi cleanse it really doesn’t, The only real issue is that glint legend/herald and shrio/ devestation have well near none. Almost every single rev you see these days goes around running with either of these. Conditions just happen to be the weakness of these 2 legends is all.
Reworking condi damage on the other hand is something that can and should be looked at though, especially application for certain things mainly eye balling mesmers and confusion sadly and give them a small check similar to what reapers had with the abundant access it had to chill before. As for burning I’m not exactly sure how to feel about this but the only classes imo if they run no sigil and such that can hide burning behind other condis are warriors and engs and have it at a high enough stack that its deadly. Could say ele and guardians apply massive stacks of burning but for me personally im ok with that as it tends to be their only real condition damage and they have to invest pretty heavily for it giving up something else to take such things.
Well everyone uses glint + shiro because other legends are not that “well adjusted”. Devs need to work on revenants seriously, fix the bugs and balance things out. Then I think most of us would play jalis, or my personal dream ,ventari also.
I dunno tbh I think everyone uses glint because of the main first reason being the passive boon loving and shrio literally because of its control and quickness/superspeed uptime its very physically aggressive and its outright weakness are condis both the legends and traits. Dwarf, centaur, and demon legends and the respective trait lines all have methods to deal with condis very well. What’s prob lacking are weps that can remove them but can’t have everything. The
The bugs do need to be fixed though but there really isn’t anything currently thats game breaking to the point the legend/traitline is not use able if condis honestly are such an issue for roaming in wvw for revs change from the typical (spvp) meta shiro/glint build.
Really though from reading, the majority of this thread people simply want the condi removal tools to be put into shiro and glint I highly doubt that will happen.
I think resistance is the unique Rev way of dealing with condis and it probably wouldn’t hurt to slightly increase baseline Rev access to it.
The profession has no mix-match option in utilities and elite skills. At least I desire several different legends to bring more build variety. Different types of damage legends would be excellent for me. But for now I would be satisfied with better balance fix in current legends.
Revs variety comes from the fact that they can switch legends giving them total access to 2 heal skills 6 utility skills and 2 elite skills that in itself is build variety by picking which 2 legends you want to utilize, at the same time it keeps it simple by not having to actually pick your utility skills in a dropbox before fighting. Could possibly being up the argument that its a poor mans eng kit or ele attunements but those 2 classes aren’t able to wep swap.

Actually, since Rev can take 2 legends with a fixed skill set on each, there should be a potential in each legend to remove condis to some extend. Currently, Shiro and Glint have no condi cleanse!
And the fact that most go after Glint isn’t the ease of use but the flaws/bugs of other legends (Jalis & Ventari mostly, w/o saying Mallyx is 100% OK) that force you to play something with less bugs/better potential. Glint has good healing which augment Shiro and his poor healing.
