Every time a revenant uses this during teamfights, my fps gets absolutely demolished, I drop from around 60 fps to around 10.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Nope. And the effect is great (BEST looking skill in the entire game), please don’t ask for a change. Just lower your graphic settings, try animation to lowest.

I dont have any fps drops.

A friend having this issue confirmed that setting animation to low in graphic options fixed it.

The effect certainly looks amazing, I just found it worth mentioning that this skill apparently causes huge fps drops, that are certainly not normal.
I’ll try the animation settings, maybe that fixes it.

that’s actually what that setting does

Glint elite skill drops my fps and the fps of everyone around me in my guild parties by a substantial amount. I love the skill, but I really would love something to be done about the fps drop before HoT. Sure maybe setting the animation to low would fix the issue for now, but I’m hoping we won’t have to resort to this when the expansion comes out.

Sounds like it’s time for either an upgrade or a better computer for some of you.

I’m not seeing any FPS drops either.

i dont even know who glint is but i’m assuming the skill is the dragon thing

I can confirm this skill causes FPS drops. I run 60 fps, and it alone (the only skill, consistently) drops FPS. I don’t think its the graphic entirely, I’ve had much worse going on. Something about it causes fps drops though.

It might be something computer-specific. I tend to run at 40-45 FPS in “relaxed” situations, and around 25-30 FPS in combat. The skill doesn’t hit my FPS at all. I’m definitely not in the super-high-end-computer crowd, so I don’t think it’s a simple matter of how good one’s video card is. X)

It’s definitely not. I can stay 50+ fps in combat even with grenade engies around, but this skill alone drops me to about 5-10 ever single time.

I have the same problem in pvp and i use the lowest graphics for pvp. It’s the only skill that causes an fps drop for me.
