I like the idea of hearing the voice of the legend you’re chanelling, but Glint sounds horrible, especially when she makes that “screaming/growling” sound. This gets especially annoying when hearing it over and over again. Could we please get a sound that’s worth of Glint ? Otherwise just remove that growling thing please

Please remove the “growling.” Absolutely HORRIBLE and not worthy of a legendary dragon.

At least it’s not the gw1 voice. Also I’ve noticed that every legend as an “echo” effect. Like if they’re far.

What about the new Organ melody that plays when you have facets active?

I thought I was going insane for like hours this morning before I figured out what it was.

Only way to turn it off is to turn off Effects Volume.

instruments is for facet music, but i agree the glinth voice is ugh.. shudders

I think i’m kind of the odd one out here but I really think that in general all of the voices are a little bit lackluster. Back when we first heard about Revenant and all we knew was Mallyx we were led to believe that when you swapped to a legend they would be talking directly to you. Like Mallyx would try to push you to do horrible things, Jalis would be his mirror and push you towards being a hero, etc. But now all we hear is some grunts for all of the legends, and I think it’s a bit disappointing. If they would’ve gone the whole way it would be some fantastic immersion, then to satisfy everyone just put their voices into their own audio channel and give us a slider for ‘Revenant Legend Voices’ in the audio options.

I agree. I was expecting at least a few more lines of dialogue, and none of this ridiculous grunting nonsense.

While I agree with the OP and many other here, I’d like to take a moment to point out something I think is not being taken into consideration.

The Voice Actress for Glint is an amazing fit. I think given Glint’s Personality that a appropriate voice actress was found, However, when Glint is supposed to be making noises that a Dragon makes (assuming dragons were real mind you you), those of us in the community request that the Sound Team make something appropriately bestial.

There are examples of this everywhere in media, and even the Death Dragon of Orr had some great effects.

Again, The Voice Actress is a great fit for the conversational lines.. but when it comes time to kick some kitten , we need that beastly side to come out!

I agree with you. The voices are ok to me, even though I would be really happy if they tweaked these voices a little bit to make them sound more like some sort of a distant echo. This would give us more immersion to the legends. But Glints roar… for me this just has to go ! I would even be happy if they just replaced it with a roar of one of the dragon bosses we already have in game ( like Tequatl, Shatterer, Claw of Jormag or Zhaitan).

This exactly. It adds nothing, and detracts greatly.

The grunts are literally the worse thing about legends. If its all they supposed to “talk” they might as well delete that feature…

They dont talk much, if anything at all and so far i havent hear anything outside of combat.

I love Glint’s voice and she’s one of my favorite legends to use for that reason!
