I switched main to revenant a month ago and been trying out WvW. This weekend I switched to soothing bastion trait ankitten ot seeing it activate.

I was wondering if anyone familiar with the trait can help me use it properly. Right now I am wondering if it is super easy to interrupt. Perhaps it is activating and I am interrupting it without even knowing.

You have to be struck while under 25%, so if you go from 30% to 0 or from full to 0 entirely by condi damage the trait won’t activate. It’s really dumb in its current form especially after the Crystal Hibernation nerfs ages ago.

I did not know about that struck while under 25% part. Thank you for sharing your experience.

It’s actually very hard to interrupt. I think weapon swapping is the only thing that cancels it; you can’t move to cancel (for sure) or even dodge to cancel (I think).

It also does not break stuns. From my experience, this means that if you are brought to less than 25% health while you are stunned or otherwise disabled, Soothing Bastion will not trigger. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I agree with Rising Dusk, once it triggers, you can’t move or dodge to cancel it.
