Guild Wars 2

So, I recently picked up rev and ive been encountering a problem. I’ve been running the power shiro with maruader and leadership/air depending on how i feel. With switching a legend, and using staff 4, i have 2 ways to cleanse conditions. Most of the time whenever i get into a matchup agaunst a condi engy or mesmer or necro i lose. Have any tips for getting better?

Don’t get hit. No really, that’s all there is, other than Infuse Light. Dodge and block everything. You can put on Leadership runes for 2 extra clears every 45s and cleansing sigil, but the big thing is don’t get hit.

If you’re playing sPvP then I can give you help. Boop’s advice is technically correct but not actually helpful. I’m NA and I’ll be on around 5:30pm east coast time.

Basically you need to know your matchups perfectly before engaging them, you have high sustain against power builds and low sustain against condi builds. Pick your 1v1s carefully, condi mes is a bad matchup for you.

Try to avoid 1v1s in matches, rather engage teamfights or +1

So essentially learn the other classes so you can avoid getting hit lol. Totes different

Just don’t get hit. You have access to a multitude of blocks + evades. Stowcasting for baits help too.

Its not Spvp, but the idea is still the same. Mind your active defenses and keep an eye out for key skills to block/dodge. Conditions are cancer while using pure Power setups as a Revenant and you cant really afford eating a burst of it.

Against Necro, you’ll want to pressure them up close and focus them with your teammates, but always be ready to peel off when they enter shroud to avoid getting cleaved and bombed with Conditions. Its possible to win a 1v1 against them, but its a somewhat uphill fight, especially if they have a lot of life force.
