Herald can grant a remorseless Ranger an Opening Strike every 3s and can fill a Reaper’s Lifeforce Bar out of combat.

I guess those two will be close friends to the Herald.

Yeah, synergy with Remorseless is pretty amazing. It will give Opening Strike to the pet, too.

Oh, interesting synergy indeed! I can see the remorseless thing, but I’m not too familiar with necro. How exactly would the Herald help fill their Lifeforce bar out of combat?

Edit: Okay, nevermind, found out myself. It’s Reaper’s Blighter’s boon. :P

Although the Remorseless stuff is indeed some nice synergy, don’t forget that the ranger can already do this to himself with “Strength of the Pack!”

Although the burst gained from Remorseless + Facet of Darkness might be much more significant with the now freed-up Entangle… Might be pretty evil for WvW roaming.

Strength of the Pact gives the Ranger 4 Opening Strikes on a 60s (48s traited) CD for the cost of an Elite Skill.

Herald gives the Ranger an Opening Strike every 3s for as long as he is in Range for the cost of -2 Energy Regeneration.

I agree that the Ranger can do it alone for a short window, but the Combo with the Herald is miles ahead and less costly.
