Herald shoulders impractical
It makes a lot of sense for the Heralds to only have one pauldron on his mainhand. Since in the Offhands he has a Shield which makes any armor on the offhand useless, including up to the shoulder.
The same reason females have armor covering their melons but would be instantly taken out to a single thrust to their exposed midriff
To be entirely honest, in many cases I prefer the look of the asymmetrical shoulder piece.
And like the guy above said, in some cases it could be justified. A shield would likely be heavier because it would be built for durability, whereas a sword wielded alongside it would probably be lighter to allow for swift strikes to cut through enemies more quickly.
where can i see the elite spec shoulders skins?
It looks rad as kitten, 1 shoulder 4 lyf.
No, because having 2 big kiTTen shoulder pieces means one of them gets in the way of my shield kappa :P.
I’ve never been a fan of symmetry though it would be rather impressive if Anet could implement an option on which shoulder to show 1 or apply on both ect.
I love asymmetrical outfits, so no, I’m in favor.

I agree the asymmetry bothers me but there is some precedent
Do I get the chest piece? ;o
… We are arguing about a shoulder pad made out of crystals…
… In a game where we have made great-swords out of colloquial time references (Sunrise, Twilight, Eternity)…
Wut? Y U Do Dis?!
I also like the look of the one sided armor in this case, the only thing that really bothers me is that I don’t have a matching gauntlet to go with it the rest of the way down my arm.
