I’m thinking about switching over from engineer.

How long does it take to level up a rev?

I remember the extremly boring questing and leveling up with my engineer 2 years ago, and i hope i can skip it….

I play mainly gw2 for the www….

Any tips?

I tomed my Revenant to 50 and leveled the rest grinding Halloween Labyrinth with all the XP boosters I could get. Got 80 in a day.

Took me about 30 seconds but I’m a fast clicker :P

how can i get those tomes?:)

logging daily, getting them from that and choosing as 30th day reward and from playing and combining writs of experience.

People prepared before HOT

Reward tracks give tomes in PvP
Daily fractal chests give tomes in PvE
Log-in rewards give them anywhere

If you are gonna do it the normal way you can get to 80 on a char just doing map completes in 2 weeks. That is at 1 map a day so obviously you can go a lot faster if you do more than 1 map per day. Of course you can go the crafting route or WvW trains as well. There’s a few options really.

I just aint gonna level normally hehe..i rather quit than play the leveling of gw2 tbo..

I would farm the Halloween Labyrinth you can peal through levels fast. I took my ranger in there to farm trick or treat bags and get my achievements for carving pumpkins. I knocked out 6 levels without even paying attention.

Make sure you have Haloween +15% exp boost consumables and follow a commander. Jalis swirling hammer + hammer = loot vacuum

Just make sure you do all the daily fractals everyday and in 16 days after not looking at your Revenant it’s going to be 80

Lol this must be your first mmorpg. This game has the beast levelling system that there is. Many FUN options and not just “stand here on this spot and kill the same mob for hours on end”. :P

Did 4x 0-400 crafts, lvled under boosters in Labyrinth, tomed last 10 or so lvls. All in a day.

oki plan….

1. use the thing that get you to 30….i think i got a thing on my main..called something stupid;)
2. try to do the haloween thing since its in the game atm…
3. use birthday xp thing and craft like a madman…
4. use all the tomes of knowledge i can get my hands on..
5. IF close to 80….grind the last levels by www’ing……IF far from 80…quit gw2 and play swtor;) (or go back to WOW again)

And per say GW2 (only because of www) is better than swtor, but it IS star wars…and i need my star wars fixes occationally;)

If you have a 2 year old acc you must have lvl 20 (or 30) books, lvl up times, writs of xp and some money to craft. I leveled my little fella to 80 within seconds.

I do have those books yes…some tome i must also have i guess…but I have been playing very little gw2 the last year or so….

the real pain is going from 0 to 400 hp for herald.

Leveling has always been pretty easy to do in GW2. Get some food and utility consumables to increase your exp gain and just play however you’d like.

1-80 no tomes using the Halloween event with killstreak boosters only was 3 days

My plan failed.(i lost motivation to start a new toon alltogether:( )..lol…I’m gonna dable into swtor abit…and then maybe gw2 after that,….ty so much for your contribution..i will use this post when i return:)

Best way is by far the labyrinth. I lvld mine from 50 to 80 pretty fast. Nothing compared to some people but.. What I did, was do events, since you gain bunches of lvls fast without doing anything, go back and explore zones. you get great xp for exploring, you will need hero points, so go to lowbie zones and get those hero points.. When you are going to sit and grind lvls out... I.E lybrinth make sure you get kill streak booster, XP Booster, food, oils (Which you get from the trick or treat bags) and if you have it a celebration booster as well.. And if you can find it a hero banner or one of the banners..

With those boosters i went from 70-80 in about 2hrs of grinding the labyrinth.
As others have said WvW is great too.. Follow the zerg and reap the karama train of capping things and such.

About 34.5 seconds.

Halloween Labyrinth is the fastest way if you don’t have tomes.
