Hey all, my character reached level 80 and i have no idea how to get elite specialization. Any advice?

2 ways to get it….1)unlock by getting hero points in pve…can find maps to do it online quickly
2)unlock by proofs of heroics in wvw…not as grindy, will take more time i believe but is more fun imo

You have to unlock everything else before you can do the elite specc as well. HoTs zones give 10 points per challenge so the first two zones should net you plenty to get basically everything, maybe you’ll miss out on elite skill but that shouldn’t take long in a third zone. Especially the first HoTs zone there are lots of points in crevices you can just drop into, really easy to get.

For quickness i usually do about 10-12 hero point in HoT which gets 100-120pts, most of the first 2 maps have very simple ones which can be done very quickly.

After that i’ll level the rest in WvW. Each WvW level gets you 5-9 pts per level(9 is max, min might be different) and its easy to power through levels quickly if you stack up on xp boosters

Do Hero Points in Verdant Brink, Auric Basin and Tangled Depts; most of them will only requiere the most basic masteries (gliding, ascending currents, bouncing mushrooms) and can be done alone (some are harder than others so bringing a partner to some of the champions could be adviced). The full soloable HP should put you at the ~180-200 mark. Then you can either complete up to 250 just:

• Leeching with larger teams to do the hardest ones.
• Gaining them with the WvW currency you get every time you rise your WvW level.
• Doing the central Tyria HP (only one point each one, but still easy to do). Just the three Orr marps brings you 41 HP.
