Man , displacement was so freakn awesome and felt like it defined the class in such a powerful way that rev’s where gonna be a required class for pvp , for displacing stomps. I can’t tell you how many stomps I prevented from happening last beta. Now that displacement is outta here I’m just bummed. I wish they never showed the total awesomeness of Unyielding Anguish. Whomever came up with the idea or wrote the code for that should given a raise, cause it was the best unique concept I have seen In a long time.

You can still use the Glint elite for preventing stomps and ress. It’s pretty effective.

I’m glad the displacement is gone. It was definitely a great idea but it was way too easily abused. The new one is still very good. Lots of chill is always nice.

glint elite, axe 5, hammer 5, sword 5, shiro elite… there’s tons of ways to stop a stomp.

Displacement worked against stability and aoe cleave . The next best thing was a mesmer or necro removing stability and interrupting . I felt this new mechanic would be game changer, to encourage Rev’s in PvP. If it came across as to abused then perhaps an increase in skill cood down , which I would be totally for.

Exactly that’s why it got removed. The old UA was a 100% way to deny a stomp/res or decap a capture point. Also the random nature could get pretty disorienting and overall wasn’t fun.
