I’m of the opinion that it isn’t really viable for PvP right now. Mallyx utilities seem to benefit power users more than condition builds. The mace is the only real condition damage weapon we have.

Conditions seem lack luster when compared to the damage that can be output by power builds.

Glints heal will only be effected in a very small way by the healing power boost, although it’s regen and the other heals will see a bigger improvement.

I don’t know honestly, I don’t think so right now.

well i’m currently making my first ascended armor, its for my rev and its celestial.

i think alot depends on build and skills you use. I use mace/shield + Hammer with glint/jalis, trait lines devestation, corruption, herald.

It won’t be Meta any time soon…but its nice to play and gives option to swap out weapons and traitlines as needed

Speaking for PVE, I would think that a mix and match of other gear that gets you a bit more power without any condition damage would work much better in a hybrid type build. Maybe a mix of knight’s/berserker’s/cleric’s?

Yes, yes it is.

For PvP, you build as if you were one of those Eles/Engins with perma-25 Might stacks to supplement damage.

For PvE, if you go a hybrid (Mallyx + anything else and don’t full go Mace/condition or go Herald/Power weapons), it’s extremely strong (especially with Embrace the Darkness).
