This is not some hate post or me yelling about what happened to this class. I just want to know if we as revs think the shortbow will be viable in pve and pvp for some good dps? I like the weapon and flavor personally. It just felt weak compared to other classes, but I could have just been getting rekt due to my skill lol

I think for tagging mobs in a zerg, very good. For single target damage its majorly lacking. They need to up the damage to your target without making it op from the splash damage. At this point its damage is low cause 1 shot can hit 25 people.
It doesn’t provide damage or utility so no, just tagging since it’s faster than hammer.
What do people mean when they say viable in PvE? Cause I’m already doing everything with non-meta builds (cele staff ele, non-druid ranger, flamethrower engie) with no issue whatsoever. If you are doing an event or fighting a world boss with other people doing non optimal dps shouldn’t matter.
