After browsing these forums, am I the only one who loves what they have done with revenant? Great relevent builds for each gametype, and a lot of fun to play. I think they did a pretty good job with Revenants =D

I love the idea behind the class.
I love that they’ve got such a strong callback to GW1 in their legends.
I enjoy their playstyle, even though I’m still trying to master it.
I wish that Anet dealt with the crippling bugs as quickly and as often as they squashed any that were of benefit to us.
I wish that the devs would stop swinging the nerf bat and at least compromise when it comes to our profession’s changes.
I would enjoy it much more if the other legends were more viable and traits/skills/energy costs were re-evaluated.

I see what youre saying, there is definitely some build diversity, but very much like other classes there are “meta” builds that are sought after as the best for certain areas of content. This is something all classes face, and have faced since gw2 inception. But the meta changes, sometimes slowly, or drastically like the release of HoT and the sudden viability of Reapers =D. If your aim is to just have fun, go off and make some fun and unique builds. There are so many different stat templates in armor, and revenants have some interesting skill lines. Just go for it!

I like rev, I leveled 2 (almost 3) to 80 but these days i prefer berserker.
Most of the time in PVE i’m just spamming sword 1 and sword 2 on cooldown, sword 3 if I need to evade some attack.
I wish Ventari was competitive in pve or even pvp.

Depends on how much time you got on your revenant and if you played other classes. Also, everything can be fun if you don’t go hard. Bet even vcleric thief would be fun too with some approach.

I really enjoy my revenant. It’s a love hate relationship with condi: I love the animations and how the skills feel on my tiny asura, but hate all the bugs. I recently swapped to power, and while I don’t enjoy it as much, it’s been a lot of fun. Anet landed the nail on the head with our skills.

I just really wish they would go over a large majoirty of a bugs, fix them, and also change a lot traits that have no practical use.

Still completely in love with the class, but I don’t really play it anymore because of the Precision Strike bug. It’s just not something I want to deal with in raids and such.

Once it’s fixed I’ll be back full time.
