Hi all. I’ve recently decided to go after my Mistward armor set for my Rev. I was wondering on the drop rate of the casings and linings. I’ve started killing both bandits, svanir, inquest and flame legion. Both in dungeons and in open world and so far nothing. I’ve spend a considerable amount of time in dungeons as well with zero results. How fast did you get your enemy pieces? I’m getting a little frustrated with the lack of drops. Also, can I farm with any character or do I need to do it on my Rev?

Took 20 mins tops farming specific mobs on my rev.

I believe if you have the collection unlocked you can get those drops with either character you are on.

How do you unlock those without the items dropping? Do I need to do the world boss part for those drops first? Im confused since it says to unlock say the Warfists I need to unlock the Devastation Rev specialization. I am full Herald… shouldn’t it have unlocked the collection for me already at least to start? I also have most of the skins for the armor thats’ required already. Confusion

If you have unlocked Herald the collection it`s unlocked.

For the mats needed for the collection i used wiki to find where to farm.

Hmmm I’m a fully unlocked herald spec. Collection still locked other than the helm. Looks like its ticket time.

I honestly dont remember perfectly since i’ve finished it in the first week of hot but here a few tips.

Item you need mobs to drop actually drop only with the relative collection is opened (there’s the proper opening object).

Same goes for the item you need to buy from hot NPCs.

If I remember correctly you unlock those collection by unlocking and finishind each of the specializations (5 base + 1 elite).

Drop rates are actually good, you should just spend few minutes in the proper area to have them (if they are from mobs).

Look at the wiki if you have some doubts

The issue I had was that my character was bugged. A quick ticket to Arena net fixed the problem immediately. Thanks for all the information guys!
