Mallyx torment goes through block HUGE BUG!
Don’t all conditions go through block?
Malicious Reprisal
When one of your attacks is blocked, your next attacks will be unblockable.
Your attacks can’t be blocked.2 Unblockable (5s): Your attacks can’t be blocked.
Block only blocks direct damage hits, pure condition application and condition damage itself goes through blocks.
Guardian main since launch
What I mean is not that condition damage goes though block. The condition applying goes through block. For example I have 0 stacks of torment when i start blocking and when revenant is nearby i suddenly have 7 stacks from the revenant who doesn’t have the goes through block Malicious Reprisal trait. This is a pretty huge bug!
Blocking is a technique used to negate incoming attacks. A blocked attack deals no damage, and other effects on the target are also ignored. Some traits grant benefits when blocking or when being blocked. Some skills are unblockable, which is listed in the skill description. Unblockable attacks will prevent blocks and traits or effects that trigger on blocking from activation. Traps are an example of unblockable skills.
Blocking targets destroy all projectiles they come in contact with – this means projectiles with Pierce, or projectiles that don’t directly do attacks (e.g. Infiltrator’s Arrow) can be effectively bodyblocked by a target who’s blocking.

Further testing showed that mallyx conditions goes through evade also.

EtD is an AoE condition so unless I am mistaking simply standing in the radius, blocking or otherwise, will give you torment. That is not a bug. Have I made a mistake?
Seeing as I gain conditions AE or otherwise while immune to all damage in mist form on my elementalist, this seems normal to me.

GW2: it’s like DAoC, but for the WoW crowd.
Well there is no other skills that does this so I assume that this is a bug.

This.
EtD doesn’t strike you with any damage (like Doom for example) and it functions similary to all the field/miasma effects in PvE. You can’t evade or block those. It’s not a bug, just skill design.
It’s been like this since the beginning and I’m surprised you didn’t know this already, OP. I’ve been talking about this on my streams and showing how to pressure Revenant through Crystal Hibernation for months now.
