Anyone know the max solo dps in PvE for a rev compared to other classes?

About 20-24k Pretty bad.

So I tested it on the training golem using only self applied buffs (including no additional vulnerability on the golem) and I ended up around 9.6k dps. For comparison I did the same test with my condi ranger and ended up at about 12.6k. Rev actually did a lot worse than I anticipated considering it has much better self buffing capabilities in regards to might and quickness plus my rev has best in slot everything including full power infusions. My ranger on the other hand has basically no might stacking, no quickness, no infusions and still has a few random pieces of sinister gear, yet still pulled 30% higher dps.

Self buffing. So no might, banners, gotl, quickness, alacrity, vulnerability on golem, etc. Only had fury with tiger and used sun spirit since it also gave more dps then flame trap.

So if 20-24k sucks, what is actually good dps?

Played with my full bleed/chill condi necro today in Bloodstone, and I epid the Jade Bow and it hit the Jade Armor. I “only” got to 14k dps (ticking 12k bleeds + all other condis).

Fast forward to WvW tonight on my Rev. Did a single CoR into the SMC Lords room and “only” pulled 13k dps (about 12k dmg each to 5 targets in a row).

BGDM shows most everyone else hovering around 3-5k dps… I’m wondering how in the world 24k dps is considered underpowered??

It all comes down to buffs. Op asked for solo DPS which I take to mean only with self applied buffs in which case 20-24k is absolutely unrealistic unless you are fighting an extremely low armor target.

Rev has decent solo DPS when you don’t account for party buffs because it can stack a lot of might by itself and has quickness spam with shiro. With all party buffs though, Revenant has crappy DPS when compared to something like Condi Warrior which has like 33k DPS, since rev’s dps rotation is literally just sword auto attacking and spamming 2 off cooldown.

When I said 20-24k dps, yes, I meant full unrealistic buffs. Tempest can reach 42k dps with same buffs. So the dps is bad yes.
