Most needed on glint?
Glint was a dragon. She could fly. So what is needed on Glint is a skill, that allows you to fly. We have already the wing skins^^
Chronomancy works, I am proof of it. Now stop asking me questions. Time must be preserved!
The elite skill transform you into a dragon as an upkeep skill.
Turn me into a rampaging dragon please
From the other legends what do to think glint needs the very most?
1. Shield that can offer protect, and blocks.
2. Utility skill. Passive grants 25% movement speed. Activate to remove one condition and regeneration.
3. Possible trait line, while wielding a shield gain toughness (depending how well our shield is this may be needed)
Personally I’d love if shield was as good as guardians focus for blocks and regen. What do you all want to see to complete this class still?
I think we are good on blocks with staff 3 and offhand sword 4. I recall datamined shield skills with healing and condi removal but I suspect that may have been turned into staff 4. I’d like to see some more ranged offense or CC skills. Rev has plenty of gap closers but no ranged attacks except for the hammer.

If it’s at all based off GW1 (it will be), it’ll be based on soft CC (chill/immobilize like Crystal Bonds and slow like Crystal Haze) and Retribution boon like Jagged Crystal Skin. Crystal Hibernation makes for an aesthetically themed group heal/regeneration (something the Revenant currently lacks).
Glint is made for battlefield disruption and supports a more control-orientated level playstyle. Hopefully, it’ll have an interrupt or another mobility option of some sort as well or it’ll be an odd, clunky one requiring frequent swapping in/out to use properly.
Knowing that Glint compiled the Flameseeker Prophecy and there’s a legendary weapon of the same name, we can really guess it will be a shield.
On the other hand, I think we’re getting further away from some kind of Ritualist specialisation at this point. We’ll see in a few weeks/months.

There’s more than enough group healing in Ventari, heck it’s even an overkill if HoT’s PvE is as easy as the current PvE, Jalis is supposed to be made around CC and “punishing” enemies.
What the revenant lacks for party support and theme is boon spamming, specially good party support boons like protection, vigor or might, Revenant as of now has very limited access to might and fury and the uptime is too low to make it worthwhile, but as far as Revenant is supposed to feel as a sort of high risk-high reward frontline class that focuses on manipulating enemy damage and negating it, and I feel like it doesn’t accomplish that quite well yet.
For the Elite spec, skill placeholder icons found by datamining seem like glyphs/signets. If anything they’ll be based on Glint’s Skills from GW just like half of the LAS skills but I don’t expect anything too much of a gamechanger or that is party focused sadly, we’ll have to wait another 1-3 moths to see.
So far 3/4 of the traitlines and legends are pretty much selfish and if it wasn’t for Assassin’s Pressence, the Burst Healing output on LCS (currently not needed and I doubt it will ever be unless your team is sort of inexperienced), both Protective Solace & Field of the Mists (Mesmer & Guardian do Projectile Deflection instead of destruction which is 100% better), Warding Rift, Forced Engagement and Inspired Reinforcement the Revenant would stand last in line in both damage dealing and support, yes it has good options, but still Guardian, Warrior and Elementalist can provide both more damage and party support than what Revenant can probably deliver.

Those Glint skill icons are also reminiscent, if not more so, of the ranger’s spirit icons than they are of signets. Spirits could provide that sort of boon/soft-CC support you and Artaz describe.

Glint-spec could be boon spamming based, but Defensive (Protection/Vigor/Regen) falls too much into the realm of Guardian and Offensive (Might/Fury) falls too much into the realm of Warrior. To me, Ventari already is the support/Defense boon side (albeit weaker in many ways) but was just adjusted upward too.
As for not enough Might, Revenant’s will produce plenty (to themselves) using Assassin skills and Sword 3 with trait.
I suppose, it’s possible that Glint will get a copied version of a Mesmer Signet and provide AoE boon replications.
However, I really doubt it’ll be offensive-focused boon based though. Glint doesn’t feel thematically that it would go in that direction. Retribution boon/Aegis boon however is very Glint-like.
I ultimately hope that Glint will be far more unique/provide party support in a different manner though (i.e. provide a variety of combo fields).
I would really like to see a way to get swiftness out of combat as well as some way to condi cleanse. We still don’t have signets for any elite specs so Revenant could be the one who gets them. I see scepter being the weapon though. Allow for some nice mid-range fighting with some AOE support and/or damage.
Control skills would fit Glint theme. Crystallize enemies or make crystal barriers. In GW1 Glint got interesting skills that would be good in GW2. Just a little changes to work in GW2.
Crystal Hibernation skill sounds good healing skill.
Jagged Crystal Skin works like retaliation make it trait that give extra retaliation damage
Crystal Haze would work like mesmer power block trait
Crystal Bonds this would be powerful skill so maybe elite skill

Wishful thinking? Her Elite applying good old Fragile http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fragile
Don’t want to disappoint you but the datamined skills for the revenant’s shield seem to push Glint into something that feel like a legend that will be better at support than Ventari.

I’d bet on a legend that is balanced in regard of heal and damage mitigation.
