I named my sylvari revenant Mascarvin after one of the Geniuses in the Log Horizon TRPG. ;D

Mine’s name is Cadavenaut – a cadaverous voyager.

My revenants during the BWEs were We Need Weapon Swap and Ty For Weapon Swap.

If you are going to post your upcoming Revenant name here, make sure you reserve that name first by making a character with it…

Asvuldr, my first norn character. Sad that he won’t be able to transform though I was super excited for that.

I’ve reserved both of my Revenant names.

The 1st will be a human female called Loviatar Pohjola. Named after the Finnish goddess of pain and the land of pohjola where all the evil Finnish deities come from.

The 2nd will be a Sylvari female called Kiputytto Vitsaus. Named after the Finnish goddess of pestilence and the Finnish word for plague.

Because i’m planning on maining my rev i was planning using a name change contract on my warrior and taking it’s name Hoctar for my rev. That way i’d be like Rytlock changing from a war to rev. Just have to decide on a new name for my warrior now lol

Ouch I ran into that once, need to buy 3 name change contracts for that. Ended up deleting my character, changing name of other, and just redid the first character with tomes.

Remember $60 is a lot, your better off buying one, and spending $20 on gems convert to gold and buy the gear you lost. Bank anything ascended first. Unless you have $60 to toss away lol. Just what I did hopefully help for you.

ATM I play a charr mesmer called Pentacus Calcifire, I’m going to be taking the logical route and name my char “Pentacus Calx”, after all, what better to come after a fire than a calx?

I haven’t decided yet if I will or will not make one, but if I do, it’ll be named Gegg, asura as always.

I’m not going to delete a character that’s 3 years old. Think of the birthday rewards man. Don’t know why you would have needed 3 name change contracts. All i’m going to do is change the name of warrior before i create my rev. After changing the name i’ll have 24 hours to claim the name back for my account. I’m actually planning on doing this before the expansion so i can create a placeholder toon on my revs character slot and delete it right before rolling my toon

I’m going to named her in relation of my GW Ritualist “Spirit Ryu” (he is her ascenstor). Granted I have no idea what is the female equivalent name to Ryu.

I had to name change my old main too. I have a ton of crafting up to 500 on him, plus he’s my first toon, so I couldn’t delete him either.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Knights from Arthurian legend, so keeping in line with my guardian and warrior whose names are Sir Galahad and Sir Gawain respectively, I’ll be going with Sir Bedivere for my Revenant.

I was going to go with Andrew Whitaker, but the game kept error for some reason. Thus, I settled with Andrew Rorek (the surname being a common name between a few human characters of mine).

My Revenant name for the betas was Paidtowinnnn

Mine is called Ceáthach, meaning “Mist” in Gaelic.

Actually, it was supposed to be a play on the German tactic Blitzkreig, literally meaning lightning war

yeah, Blitzcrank never even occurred to me. Cool name, though it would fit a Scrapper rather well.

All these names with meanings make me feel underachieving. I’ve been one to come up and invent my own names, but they do have some form of meaning…usually. My rev’s (female human) name will be Onis Ebafloe. The first name was just me mashing syllables together but the last name is a name-based version of the term ebb and floe because as a revenant, she just goes with whatever legend gives themselves to her, be them once evil or altruistic.

I’m making 2. First is “Uh Oh Cant See”. “uh oh” to go with my name theme and “cant see” because obviously the blind fold.

The second will be an Asura named “Shrunk in the Mists”. I wished our names could be longer because I really wanted it to be “Uh Oh Shrunk in the Mists”.
