Hello all! I just completed the mistward armor collection yesterday after about a week of grinding the collection masteries needed and working on other stuff but now that I have it I have a new problem. When I got this armor set yesterday I immediately changed the colors to shadow abyss and burgundy (as these are the colors I use most) but I am now looking for some kitten color combos to liven the armor up. I am a guy so keep that in mind so no pink or white colors but truly looking for some unique awesome looking color schemes to bring this armor set to life so if you all could take a picture with decent light of your tune and put it on here with colors used that would be fantastic. I am in love with the way the armor looks like on its own but I figure the right colors could make it truly stand out in the world.

I ended up going with Shadow Abyss with (I think) lilac highlights. Whatever color matches Lord Taeres’s Shadow for sword. I also use Peacemaker Staff which has a purplish glow. It’s on the pinkish side, but idc, my toon is manly enough to wear it.

While it’s possible they did, its also probable they are telling a joke or maybe both at same time ;-)

People cry about armor being bland and they dye it all black. And if you afforded shadow abyss you dye it all black cause it’s the leet thing to do ;-)

Shadow purple is sexy. Generally speaking this set has tons of combinations, noone can pick them for you. You can pick main color like shadow X, charred, celestial whatever as your theme dye and follow with dark green for shiro, some blue for glint, dark blue for Jalis, dark purple for Mallyx or some intense yellow/gold for Ventari. Idea is to fit both your legends in dyes with your “general theme”

For example Mallyx/Shiro bad dude – shadow purple as theme or shadow abyss, “light up” parts vincent and the cloth shadow green or the other way around.

I was kidding, I usually dye my characters based of the class, Greens/yellows for ranger, Blues/whites for Guardian, Purple/pinks/whites for Mesmer, etc. Like for my rev, I went with a mix of shadow abyss, and various blues, since his hands glow blue, and look misty etc, I also use the Raving Lunatic outfit or whatever.

To save some money: Shadow Orange (6g) looks almost like Shadow Abyss (240g) on the metal parts of mistward armour.
