Neutral Revenant Skills
I agree. Revenant feels really limited in it’s build diversity, and its really predictable in PvP, because you’ll always know what its running.
I also specifically want the ability to swap skills on Revenant just to get rid of Pain Absorption on Mallyx. Its a useless skill that does nothing. Everybody runs their own condi cleanse, no matter what game type you’re in, and the horribly long cast time on it means everybody can cleansed before you can pull condis from allies to yourself. The tooltip might as well say “No effect.”
Hmm…hows about nty? Utility skills are fine, theres no need to add more. Its a tradeoff for second bar of utility in combat.
Playing Smite since mid s2, f broken gw2.
I like the utilities the way they are.
I think it’s too late for these kind of suggestions anyway. The class mechanics are pretty much set in very solid stone at this point. Five days to go!
it’s fine as is, and this one little thing is going to convince a whole mess of people not to play Revenant for long, so we won’t be swimming in them.

This.
I wouldn’t object to it on principle, and it would also allow racial skills to not be useless for a revenant. That said, if it does become practical to add more skills to the base revenant, there are things I’d prioritise higher. A condition-based ranged weapon for a start. But at this point, we’re not going to see entirely new skills introduced. I’d expect they’ve locked down major changes at this point and are focusing on ironing out as many bugs as possible before Friday.
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.
I would definitely support this but not with racial skills;
some revenant neutral utilities would be cool to see and create more build diversity, skills that would not be based on channeling a legend but rather skills based on using the mist.
Thats not to say that I dont like the current way revenant works: I absolutely love it, I just think that this is a cool idea and would make sense.
