Guild Wars 2

I made a new Rev and boosted him to 80. I have looked up guides and builds, and just about every single one has herald in it. I don’t have herald yet, (working on it today), but what should I replace herald with for the meantime?

I’m looking for surviveability/condition PvE and roaming in WvW.

Jalis+Shiro until Herald.
It can offer some protection against condition damage/getting swarmed with Vengeful Hammers/RotGD and has a decent heal.

Much of our condition damage comes from torment, which isn’t all that great in PvE.
