Seems like there is no reason to ever not be a herald. Its just way more powerful than just being a revenant. Throw some builds at me that dont have a herald spec.

For wvw as it wont work in spvp that well.

Yeah i wouldnt use viper if we had ranged condi wep. If someone has too high pressure to stay toe to toe with them to apply conditions or when i need to heal up with Shiro (ugh) then i swap to swords. Those still hits decent, not as much as zerker build but still somewhat okay. Going full condi is not an option in current state sadly.
Coming from someone who hates hybrid builds. I hope they give us core ranged wep with the skills from my rework document.. but chances for it are like 0.01% rofl
