I defeat A chak gerent in Tangled Depths….

turns out you have to complete the meta in it’s entirety and successfully which means all lanes killing their respective chak gerents.

Thanks for the false advertising on the achievement. Way it was worded makes you think you only have to kill one x.x

Time to go perform an Unrelenting Assault on my wrist.

Got to agree it’s poorly worded. It does say kill, not to complete the meta as a whole. Killing one of them would be fair enough for the achievement anyways. It does grant Gerent Slayer achievement, which is similarly worded.

I’m not sure about the headwrap. Just reskin something with the starter headband skin.

Still the last thing I need. I never see a LFG entry for it nor see the event even active.

Iirc this was looted from the event chest, so yes, the event would have to be completed. Could use a tweak to that text for sure.

Me too, my maps always fail.

That’s what I was thinking. But oh well, I suppose as the days go by, people will get the hang of the TD meta event and eventually beating it would become as regular as the Triple Trouble.

That event really rubs its silliness in your face when the enemy’s named Chak Regent. I mean Gerent.

But seriously, I’ve still not finished it once, and I haven’t actually finished a Dragon’s Stand map either. I guess I just have to learn the group finder map swapping rather than staying in my map.

Today I killed Chak Gerent with GW2 Community but since one lane didn’t whole event failed = no headwrap. It is that hard even organised groups fail sometimes. DS could be that hard, cause it is final meta event but random PuGs do it every 2 hours. ANet should make Tanled Depths meta event easier, I want to chill while playing the game instead of try-hard kitten event on kitten wannabebigjumpingpuzzle map.

Oh please, this idea… With current system, you CANNOT organize your try properly. See GW2C has more than enough ppl every Gerent event for TWO maps.
Yet you leave billion of ppl out, because you just cannot pick a map and get your ppl in. Fake taxis everywhere, map full/bottlenecked immediatelly. And this isn’t about getting 20 of your guildies in, it’s about having ~80 ppl fooded and educated.

I don’t mind hard events, but this solely depends on luck if you make the jump to right map. All that for ONE HEAVY piece of armor collection.

Meanwhile you can easily PUG raids…

Yet you leave billion of ppl out, because you just cannot pick a map and get your ppl in. Fake taxis everywhere, map full/bottlenecked immediatelly. And this isn’t about getting 20 of your guildies in, it’s about having ~80 ppl fooded and educated.

You can pug raids? I tried it and all of them failed within 2mins everytime, now im looking for a raid guild as im tired of pugs. Howered i agree that gerath is “too op” and needs some nerfs. Locking last piece of mistward behind is just…
