If I read correctly….4 core legends (trait lines) and one elite legend/line, for 5 total. That’s one less than all the other classes.

Less utilities w/ no customization

And now one less trait line to choose from.

The revenant have 4 traits currently:

• Corruption: Related to conditions
• Retribution: Related to control
• Invocation: Related to legend invocations
• Salvation: Related to support.

So this makes me thing that we will get a new trait line related to Damage.

Seriously? They have one line tied to their profession mechanic, which is Invocation (I believe), therefore no, it does not have less traits.

Edit: Think of it like Elementalist’s lines, 4 elements 1 mechanic. Also, sorry for the “Seriously?”, uncalled for.

Hmm.

Four of the trait lines are core spec’d for the Legends. The 5th one is a general trait line for switching Legends. Think of it like the Elementalist.

Also, the elite spec will feature another legend and more than likely a traitline that’s based around the legend.

Also, Revenant doesn’t need weapon swap.

Very good. Was worried. For some reason, I missed the line not tied to a legend ( haven’t had a chance at any beta yet).

Yeah, I saw some screenshots around the time of the post about the Shiro legend about a 5th traitline that is baseline, called “Devestation”.

So this means baseline:
Corruption (Mallyx themed)
Retribution (Jalis)
Salvation (Ventari)
Devastation (Shiro)
Invocation (all around—>mechanic oriented as Guardian=Virtue line, Ranger=Beast line, Mesmer=Illusion, etc)

I just wish they would show more now on the trait line.
