Anet made all the armor from the collection Bind on Acquire. Meaning you are unable to do the collection on another character to get armor for your Revenant. You can still get the skin unlock obviously, but the armor from the collection is double click to choose stats lvl 80 exotic armor.

Work around: If you complete the collection DO NOT open the bouncing chest in the corner…… Instead switch characters to your Revenant and the chest will still be there and you can claim the reward.

That sounds normal?
Don’t entirely know what you’d expect differently.

People’s Revenants don’t have way points yet, while their old characters do. So it’s logical that many people might try to go do the collections quickly on their other characters.

It’s not exactly intuitive to assume that you could then acquire the armor on that character (i.e. a Mesmer) and have it bound to them.

I expected I would be able to do the collection so I could have armor for my lvl 80 revenant instead of having to craft it with market being all wonky. I was wrong …unfortunately. It should account bound not soul bound. Making it account-bound would give players with lvl 80 revenants sn easy avenue to just start playing rather than piddling around for gear.

Ok, but couldn’t you then complete the collection on another character and simply not open the chest until you’d switched back to your Revenant?

(Not that Account Bound + Soulbound on Use wouldn’t have been better, mind you.)

I had the same problem, was going to unlock on my main to give to my Revenant, and the first piece I got is now soulbound to my Warrior who already has ascended. It’s an account based collection, so surely the reward should be account bound?

Was using my thief since going around the world with someone that has map completion would be easier, right? Now he has the Mistward gloves soulbinded to him that was meant for my Revenant. Is there a reason why it’s not “Account bound on acquire – Soulbound on equip”?

Simply do all the event & random drop stuff with other characters and save process of unlocking mistward inscriptions for Revenant character.

Obviously gonna do that now since I found out about the soulbind the hard way. Going to have to go transmute something for the gauntlets.

Guys, where did you get these items ( Mistward pauldron linning, mistward leggins linning, …) They all have the hint dropped by xyz. I have allready been in the specific instances, citadelle of the flame for Flame leagion things, but nothing dropped so far. Am i missing something?

It dyes terrible anyways. Shadow abyss is useless, too kitten shiny.

Some people REALLY like that Mistward armor. Like, a lot.

Do anybody know where the merchant for the Mistward Helm Insignia is?

bump because helm mistward insignia.. the crystal ore merchant in dragon’s stand doesn’t sell them.

Can anyone tell me where i can get the shoulder insignia and the legging insignia?

The vendors in Verdant Brink and Auric Basin don’t sell them even with the Itzel Language and Exalted Acceptance masteries unlocked.

exalted is in the golden city after the event and both itzel and nuhoch are at jaka itzel next to that old frog lady’s house.

Really? You couldn’t make this achievement-related item bound to account? It absolutely HAD to be bind on pickup?

Just noticed that my Mistward Pauldrons got binded to my Warrior since I opened the chest on him.

Seriously, I hope to God that ArenaNet is going to change that so that armor is binded to the account. Like mentionned above, a lot of people will unlock that armor on their other chars and transfer it over to their Revenant. I don’t understand how that armor isn’t account bound to start with, or AT LEAST, bind it on equip, not on unlock?

ArenaNet, any comeback on that?
