Please let Impossible Odds be Shiro Ult!
I don’t know how many of you are gw1 nutz or how many of you remember fighting shiro in gw1 but he had an AWESOME skill that he would activate only under 25% health, that turned him into a kitten!
Impossible Odds(10 seconds.)
All Shiro’s attacks are double strikes and hit nearby foes. Shiro transfers conditions from himself to foes he hits. Initial effect: removes all hexes from Shiro. The ult would make you double strike, each strike does AoE damage, transfers all conditions on you to ur target, all lasting for 10 seconds.
The part about hexes couldn’t happen because they don’t exist in gw2.
What do you guys think? I personally think it sounds like an awesome Ult.
Bro, compare legacy of the current Non-Shiro/Glint Legends to their beta Legend.
Thats should answer your questions.
Honestly though, Impossible Odds sound like a perfect elite skill. I could imagine it pulsing Quickness and resistance, or some other similar functionality to the GW1 version.

I know, you don’t even have to switch it around much and it would be awesome.
Heck Battlescars would be a good elite as well, but Impossible Odds is just way more epic. When factions was new a lot of people wiped repeatedly on Shiro because of this one skill. Now that’s what I’d call an elite!
Battlescars is a good skill yeah.
Impossible Odds was THE reason Shiro was challenging though……until Pain Inverter came out.
jade winds were datamined once as elite skill, a 600 range unblockable 2s aoe stun. if they haven’t changed anything this will still be the elite.
i remember before the patch, warrior used to have a trait that gives like 20% damage increase on all attacks when HP fall under 25% but it was useless..

Empathy, Spiteful Spirit, Spoil Victor, and other such skills had much the same effect before Pain Inverter. You just had to land one (or, preferably, several) after the hex removal so it can stick.
Basically, you wait until you see Impossible Odds come up and then throw the hexes as fast as possible. If he was using Riposting Shadows as well and you broke him out of the stance that gave him lifestealing, it would usually make him explode pretty quickly.
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.

He wasn’t challenging. Taking Shiro took me about 1 and half minute with my necro on second or third try. Just like one said: Spoil Victor.

I was on a ranger and not well versed on necro, i hated that class in gw1, so i was trying other options as a ranger, so that could be why i thought he was more challenging, i was also 11 years old back then sooo haha

Not in WvW sure in conquest pre patch zerk war wasn’t that good and stat were still linked to trait lines but that trait was used for roaming.
The Dhuumfire thread
I’d love to have double strikes from Shiro legend. But we’ll see it very soon.
The original Shiro was such high level (one of the highest in game I think being lvl33 in Hard Mode) that he double striked anyway, making his Impossible Odds even stronger by hitting multiple enemies 4 times!
‘would of been’ —> wrong

What was the radius on it? Or do you mean it’s a shout? A 600 range pbaoe stun shout would be pretty pro
