Since BWE3, Jalis has been all but useless in most game-modes, with the only reason it sees use in PvE being that the upkeep skill is a minor DPS increase.

Jalis is broken, but is has so much potential. We’ve been waiting 8 months since HoT’s launch to have this legend fixed, yet balance patch after balance patch, it’s ignored. The legend needs some serious TLC if it isn’t already getting it.

My only issue with Jallis is the Elite Skill. I believe that by default it should provide both direct and condition damage by 50% and that Versed in Stone should make the elite grant Stab and Retaliation instead of breaking stuns.

Well, I admit that jalis is not an earthshattering legend but the heal is pretty good, the CC skill is great to deplete breakbar and the whirlwind hammer are a good increase in DPS (especially when you use it with the devastation traitline).

However, the elite skill feel pretty weak (but that’s probably because I don’t know how to use it right) and the stability field is a pain to use.

But all in all I don’t think it need to be reworked.

No core profession should be balanced around an optional elite specialization.

Also, you realize that with the way Jalis is, Shro/Glint builds out classes any Jalis related builds easily. Shiro has its mobility (at least some) Glint has its boons and heal. What does Jalis have? an elite that costs 50 energy and lasts for just 5 seconds. Stab you can get elsewhere cheap, swiftness you can get elsewhere and the condi removal isnt even worth it with the weaknesses it has.

People have tried Jalis builds and realized how bad it is so you should have a lot more problems with it other than the elite.

Jallis has a very reliable self heal, outside of that the utilities are designed in the spirit of tab target mmo-s and the elite….cast time too long to be a stun breaker and too little benefits, I would rather the elite give more buffs for 50 energy and a long cooldown.

Hmm for me ventari is the most broken legend. The heal is clunky and affects toi small an area, and the traits are just terrible, eg daze on elite when the elite is already a knockback. 3 separate traits for outgoing heal %, healing power to toughness conversion…. just terrible.

downed state is bad for PVP

You do realize that the Daze on elite is cast around you so that you could knockback foes around the tablet and daze around you.
Also, it should affect all elite skills.

That being said: I see your Point about the outgoing Heal traits.
Would love to see traits in all lines that affect certain skill-types like the selfheal.
Would also be great if Ventari gained a trait like: Interrupting an enemy triggers a burst heal.

Then again, i already posted my own suggestions on this quite a while ago.

My suggestions
Heal skill is ok but still rev is weak versus condi builds so it would be nice that 7 skill will proc also resistance
Skill 8 is ok but maybe less energy or more taunt duration like 3 sec
Skill 9 is nice but need buff to dmg and heal . It might be good in wvw or pve but in pvp it useless as you won’t get much health or do dmg
Elite skill cost too much and should be 35 and give it shorter activation and longer cd
