Possible bug in pvp
I have been having this happen to me as well. I thought perhaps I was just lagging or something, but If I am not the only one experiencing this it may very well be a bug.
It’s an old bug with quickness stomps.. You have to wait out the entire animation even though the stomp is finished with (the ending laggy seeming part). It doesn’t always happen and after some time you get used to spotting when it’s going to.
I seem to remember it having something to do with not having quickness for the full duration of the stomp.
Easy way to avoid that issue is by using IO before doing any type of animation, that way when the visual animation ends, it actually ends and not have to wait a bit longer.
Been doing that and have had no trouble with it so far.
Normally I do activate IO before the stomp, for that reason. Maybe I fudged it, who knows. Regardless, I do feel this should be fixed. Glad to hear I am not the only one though!
You could also disable allow skill retargeting cause it makes you unable to stomp your foe if you don’t target the foe you are stomping.
