Howdy,

I’ve been hearing people talking about a supposedly OP Celestial Herald build for pvp. Not that I care for any OP’ness but i prefer a celestial playstyle over being a all-or-nothing glass canon. However, I can’t find this build anywhere. I tried intothemists, metabattle, official forums, reddit, google…

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This is what I’m rolling with:

Could probably still use some tweak but Im having a lot of fun with it

Thanks for linking. Won’t be able to test Herald myself for a while. What can you tell me about this builds survival vs damage?

It’s very good when you’re capping mid with your team, with Facet of Strenght up you and your allies are permanently gaining might. Mace 2 + mace 3 can stack might even further.

Shield 4 should be thrown as often as possible for applications of protection and a burst of healing. Shield 5 is a good panic button.

Like any Herald the glint’s heal makes mistakes much more forgiving. Elites is good when you need to pushe backs stompers that don’t have stability or just general cc mid fight.

Damage wise, it’s good. With the fact you’re going to have might permanently, your conditions deals a good deal of damage and you have access to many different conditions. Try to land your mace 2 on groups of people, the burn is really good. Facet of Element’s flame breath is also very strong for AOE condition pressure.

Jalis form is good when you’re under lots of condi pressure, and want to apply stability for your allies that are stomping. The taunt is also nice and the Elite almost wins every group fight by itself.

Hammer is mostly for a long range option and dealing with pesky rangers/dragonhunters
