Human. All my characters are the PC’s and NPC’s of a D&D campaign I’m running. I have a chart that assigns races and classes in GW2 based on their D&D Race/Class. So… Human Anti-Paladin —→ Human Revenant.

Boots, pants and helmets are kitten of charr. Even t3 helm clips with many faces. That said heavy armor also has the least amount of issues compared to medium and light.
In theory we can solve helmets issues by not using them at all, and in case of rev by using blindfold which also goes well with rev lore and thats personally what i plan to do.
Mistward armor should be t4 btw, it really fits charr more than anyone else.
It would have to be either Asura or Charr for me as I don’t like the running animations on Humans, Sylvari, or Norn. If I could get past the look of the running it would be Norn, but it feels so slow, and I don’t want to feel even slower on a Rev.
Charr or Norn, depending on the animations. Norn female if they are decent, if not, female Charr because i freaking LOVE that voice actress and i have no ash legion charr yet.

I’m going for a female Asura for my Revenant. I don’t really like to play the humanish races as I see enough humans in everyday life, I want to use fantasy races in my fantasy games. And as far as those fantasy races go, I already have 3 Charr and 2 Sylvari but only 1 Asura, so there’s clearly a gap there that I need to fill.
That said, I won’t be using any Asura Revenants during the betas, as I want to keep the animations and voice acting a surprise for when HoT releases and I start my Revenant proper. Assuming we do indeed get all 5 races for Revenant today, I’ll probably go for a Charr.
