Reason for 600 radius Glint utilities?
So my biggest concern for the Herald is the 600 radius for Glint utilities. I would like to promote not stacking but the only way to cover both range and melee is for me to stand in the middle of them. But in doing so I have to use the 2nd hammer for range dps. This then does not let me use any of the shield skills.
Could we either increase radius to 900 or 1200. Or enable the use of a scepter so that we could still range 600 while using the shield skills.
Unless there was a specific reason to limiting range to 600, I would be interested in hearing why.
Glint is meant to be the up front tank legend along with Dwarf.
The actives are also for similar melee range combat.
It’d be nice to have some more range but in all areas of the game things move around so much that the 600 range works out just about ok.

600 is fine. As mentioned before Glint is about moving through the front lines and supporting the team from that side. Ranged based fighters are generally missing out on boons anyway due to the nature of their positioning. Yes, they can put distance in between themselves and the enemies, but the frontlines is where the majority of the buffing/booning takes place.
Similar AoE “buffing” also shares the 600 range (E.G. Empower Allies, Banners, Assassin’s Presence, etc) so making Facet’s reach anything beyond 600 would require some sort of compensation for those other similar skills/traits.
There’s no reason you can’t use hammer with Glint legend, it works fine too.
And there’s a lot of support skills in the game that is 600 range or even less, even for long range attackers (soothing mist and the ranger shout trait, to name 2 that imemdiately come to mind)

600? 600 is actually pretty lenient.
Powerful Aura = 360, Elemental Attunements = 240, Life From Death = 360 etc.
600 is on the upper side of support, unfortunately, with only a few exceptions.

Two Rev’s could work together with one supporting frontline, and one in the back supporting ranged characters. The advantage of range is you are out of harms way for many attacks, but you lose out on some dps with not being in boon range. the people in the middle and up toe to toe need the buffs, so they can stick in the heat of battle without being steamrolled. So yea, 600 range is a nice sweet spot. Not stacking, yet not across the entire area. Positioning is also part of the Rev’s tactics.

No, not really.
Having to decide which group to chill with is actually kind of an interesting limitation.
