Any of you tried it already? What builds did you use?

You can do just fine with the pvp meta builds. It’s not like you run into any skilled players at the moment so whatever.

What about runes? Durability doesn’t seem to have much use for solo roaming, which is about the most I will do. Strength are to expensive for my taste.. Could Vampirism work? Our heals have both 30 secs couldown sure but we got 2 so the healing proc is not a problem and the 6th proc could hurt much IMO

For Zerker was what I was thinking for gear anyway, but I will still throw some Soldier in there problably for some survivability

Okay so since I’m still new to the class, and didn’t play much else with it other than PvP (Starting my PvE journey, but I feel to lazy to do story and map all again, for the 4th time), and since GW2Skills is back, I decided to think of something and I got this:

I really don’t know how is the Rev in terms of survivability with full zerker in WvW, so this made my Rune choice a bit dificult. I end up going for Durability as I do in PvP with some Soldiers in the mix. The Rune works really well with the class because of the Herald and Glint legend so for first time might as well go for a safer route.

Food and Potions is pretty basic choise, at the ended I looked for the stats that could use some boost, and Power and Precision were the obvious choice, because of the lack of power on the runes, and overall they are good in pretty much every ocation.

Now one question for the roamers already out there. Could Sword off-hand be an option too?

edit regarding your question of survivability: i found that the durability runes and the food make all the difference when it comes to outmanned fighting, 1v2, 1v3 etc.
No need to wear any toughness items with that.

Marauder is not rly expensive to craft.
Main obstacle for the food is to farm 100 crystalline ore to buy the recipe in dragon stand, since its account bound.
Material costs are around 20-25s each then, kinda similar to lemongrass back in the day.

For PVE on my rev i use Zerker weapons, zerker armor, valkyrie accessories with knights or soldiers rings for some toughness.

I use strength runes because they are just too good for might stacking. I can max self might stack with those.
