First of all, Revenants are AWESOME!
As an elementalist player I felt like I’m playing a very cool new set of elements.
I loved it! The skills are cool, the idea is cool, and traits overall are really cool!
That said… You’ve already heard of the numbers being too low. Too low dps, too low heal, alright, everybody said that already.
What I think is that changing a legend is what needs to buffed. Don’t force us to take invocation trait line to have the legend invocation an instant. give more bonuses, damage, healing, boons, upon invoking a legend.

Other than that I guess you’ve already heard all the classics. Give more bleeding stacks, more torment stacks, less activation time on skills etc etc.

i agree. i don’t think i’ve ever had as much fun just standing around and spamming skills on the ground or on low level enemies.
The class is visually very appealing, and mechanically interesting, if still in need of some reworking, but my friend has already said he’s gonna switch main to revenant, and i’ll admit i plan to play the finished version the moment i’m able.

I wasn’t convinced until I tried fighting veteran karka with hammer/jails/ventari – the ventari utilities and energy management fit really well and are fun to use.

In that fight the issues that stood out were slightly clunky abilities, low damage and long elite casts… Same things you pointed to already I guess.

Same here. I didn’t like the hammer (although I wanted to) until someone pointed me at the hammer/Jalis/Ventari combo and I tested it on some veteran karka. This felt nice, with the main drawback being the somewhat low damage and the entirely useless Hammer #5 (Drop the Hammer): A cc skill with a 2 second cast time might as well be not there at all, AoE or not. And with how short-lived some fields are, a blast finisher with such a long cast time is also of questionable utility. Might be useful for WvW zerg fights, though…

Axe/Mace also felt good (apart from the usual complaint of lack-luster damage), but Axe #2 (Searing Fissure) was clunky – a slight cast time reduction would be nice.

I’d like it if hammer 5 had some additional utility – launching enemies around you before knocking down in the target zone. This could make it a really powerful combo for which a 2sec activation is appropriate.
