Just a thought but I think getting energy per attack on weapon 1 skill (maybe in exchange for energy regen) would be an awesome option. Like zealous weapons in gw1.

With a thief, sitting back helps you get initiative but actively doing something helps even more! With revenant the main problem i had was simply if i ran low on energy i had to run away to recharge (usually swap to range). If i didn’t run away and I was attacked I couldn’t even heal (thus range swap example).

I would just love to see a trait option (or just have it implemented) where you could have some kind of alternate energy gain with attacking. I’m not trying to make the revenant ludicrous with unlimited energy I just like some diversity. Anyone else agree/disagree or have ideas?

Also a side question…
Can we just get the legend swap perma set at 10 second cd (instead of instant ooc, or whatever the cd is, or even make it a slightly longer cd between swaps) and actually start with full 100% energy? I’m not per-say complaining about energy problems but I just really don’t like having my energy jump back down to 50 the second combat ends. And before combat its at 50%…. makes no sense…. I mean its energy …. like wouldn’t you have more energy BEFORE fighting then you would after? I just don’t understand… why would you do that?……

There are no plans to add skills or traits which affect energy gain, upkeep gain, or energy cost of skills for the Revenant. These traits very quickly become mandatory choices as it means you can use your skills more often and in the case of energy, it would apply to all your skills since they all use energy. This is a dramatic increase in power across the board.

These kind of traits makes for less interesting choices and cause many problems with balance, often forcing skills to be weaker to compensate for the possibility of a player having all these traits equipped meaning they can use skills much more often then a player without them. But of course there will be balance on on energy costs and recharges of skills to make sure everything feels good and balanced for what it does in the toolkit of the revenant.
