My main reason for making this topic is the Revenant, who still only has 2/5 legends that work underwater… Can swap weapons from spear to spear… Basically, please just finish underwater combat for rev. We need access to glint and jalis. A second weapon, I won’t hold my breath on.

Don’t leave rev for another expansion without simply updating the other legends to be functional underwater.

I only can assume you made a joke. Underwater combat, lol.

Although, on a serious note: I really like(d) the uw combat system, it just feels so… without diversity. I always hope(d) for a uw rehaul but the devs mentioned to reduce uw combat.

In fact they removed the uw section from the PvP lobby, they remoed uw map from pvp.

And if you check the LS maps, they contain water, but are all but a joke (uw wise), Especially DM seems to be a farce. almost a middle finger to uw-lovers. A huge pool of water, which kills you! ;D

But long story short: Revenant underwater combat will probably stay the way it is. It’s probably wasted resources.

It helps that Spear on Revenant has two auto-attacks, one ranged and one melee, it is a true hybrid weapon on revenant. But I agree, the legends need to work underwater.

I thought it was cool that spear was designed that way. The other skills on it are interesting hybrid skills too. So the weapon is used differently depending on the player’s stats.

Agree with OP. It’s very sad to see they never bothered to finish uw combat for revenant. It shouldn’t be that hard to tweak most skills to function uw.

But I think it’s a vicious cycle scenario. For this and other reasons, revenants aren’t terribly popular so they see less value in finishing them.
