Forgive me if this has been addressed already (I wasn’t able to find anything on it), but did we ever get confirmation if at launch we’ll be able to use leveling scrolls and/or tomes on Revenants? Obviously I’d love to use my stacks of tomes for something and I would expect them to be available for rev; just curious.

you will be able to level it to 80 with tomes and co, like any other class.

Yea that’s what I’m assuming, but I was just wondering if Anet confirmed this anywhere?

i’m not sure if there was a post somewhere a while back stating that you can either level it right to 80 and enjoy HoT with it or go through the personal story to get to 80…

can’t link you anything.. but at least there was no post saying that you can’t level them with tomes.

Who should they confirm it? It is just a class

Don’t get me wrong; I can see a lot of reasons it should just be default available and that’s fine by me, but ya never know - maybe they wanted to include something specific with the new class/leveling experiencing and not have you skip it? Who knows. Either way sounds like nobody knows for sure, but given the silence it’s 99% likely available.

Remember that getting to 80 is just one step to the longer HoT journey as there are all the mastery tracks (both HoT and standard Tyria) that also will require mucho xp.

My revenant is soooo ready! Got lvl 30 scroll, tomes, ascended sets, bags, infinite harvesting, food/utility buffs, etc. I do want to craft another legendary before HoT though, but not sure which.

but i would also need to go thru out all tyria to unlock all the hero points to play as my elite spec while all others got theirs ( i knows its a new class) but i want to expiriance everything with my friends, no 1 will for me to get my hero points. this is why we want a 24 hour Headstart revenant only

A 24 hour headstart doesn’t make much sense. If you were to get one it should be at least a week long. Unless you farm edge of the mists you can’t really level to 80 in 24 hours. That or you use tomes/crafting, but why would you want a headstart at that point anyway.

in 24 hours, i can lvl up to 30-40 and to feel the class as it lvling up slowly, then i can use rest of my tomes and equip my self with all the ready staff, and me personaly i can take all the hero point (only) thruout tyria in 1 day. that way im 100% realy for the expension with the hero points and the revenant and everything ready.

I wish they would change these tomes of mentor ship over to regular tomes of knowledge . I would never use a knowledge tome after level 80 to get one measly spirit shard? I can get 3 shards doing dailies.
