I Play WvW to have fun. I don’t find it fun anymore. Therefore I don’t play.

I feel that revenant has many flaws. One of them being its poor Legend mechanic. I encourage anyone that feels legends are poor to post feeback here so that the class can move forward.
My viewpoint on legends:
Before I go into each legend, it feels like no two legend combos has the tools to deal with opponents. Your always missing something. Then there is the terrible feeling of having to frantically swap legends to have energy, instead of playing around being in the right legend for the current fight at hand. I am going over things that fall short or are problems with the legends only.
Demon
I actually feel that Demon stance is one of the better stances right now. Despite its lack of condition support for being the condition stance, it offers boon strip, resistance, a stunbreak and half decent mobility.
Ventari
I have aways thought of the legendary centaur stance to be an oxymoron. The stance is based on one of the most nomadic and mobile creatures in tyria. But congrats you just switched to ventari stance, you are now a sitting duck. You can move the tablet, but you are not going anywhere fast. This causes you to just be locked down the moment you use this stance. Offering you 0 counter play.
Dwarf
Dwarf stance in all honesty could be viable with a couple of tweaks. Its biggest issue is its costs. After using any skill you’re waiting another 5 seconds before you have energy to be able to use anything else on the bar.
Glint
Glint brings so much to the table. A stun break, boons, mobility, range, reveal, cc, and then it costs nothing to use the active parts. I honestly think this stance is why rev can’t have nice things in it’s other stances because literally everything got packed into it.
As a whole, Stances for the most part do have good skills, its just you often cannot use them due to high costs. It feels like all the skills were balanced around having 100% energy per swap. Rather than the current 50%.

Glint has no costs to its actives because it has costs to its passives.
Glint is not mandatory for the passives.
Glint is mandatory because without it you miss out on 9-12 might, perma fury which boosts you to 80%+ crit with roiling mists trait, and the access to the only movement speed rev has in the game — swiftness.
Just 9-12 might for yourself and the group is huge. Boons are an immense power source in this game.
The revenant used to have high base damage and coefficients on mainhand sword so going without boons was bearable.
After nerfing mainhand sword and hammer, however, the numbers are pathetic if you don’t have boon stacking. It’s why Glint will always be used over other legends.
You can’t exist in this game without boons. Boons are too important to perform.

shhhhhhh talk like thatwill get the duration on that might cut to 8 seconds to balance it with the other legends.
Oh… you had nothing to say about shiro or did you just forgot him? I find that shiro’s skill are a bit to costly for little to no reward.
Dunno about other modes but in PvE Shiro became useless when Chronos started being able to have 100% quickness uptime.

Even without a Chrono, Shiro’s still a pretty poor choice outside of solo play since Impossible Odds doesn’t let you keep up Natural Resonance for the group… And that’s like the biggest reason you’re even there in the first place.
One thing I disagree with you OP is Glint’s functionality. In all honesty, I think the Legend is just short of being perfect, the flaw being the heal skill. I think the invulnerability should be longer with a reduction of healing. 2 seconds of it is not enough especially if you’re in the middle of red circle death zone. Despite that, the Legend is in a very good place. If anything, the other Legends need to be brought up to its standards.

Ventari
- Finicky positioning
- Low heal coefficients
- Small radi on skills
- Prohibitively expensive condi clear (35 to move and clear condi)
- 0 Mobility.
- no boon support
- no damage
- High upkeep projectile destruction

1. Tablet needs to appear on swap and teleports back to you if out of 1500 units range.
2. Add 3 seconds of swiftness to the targets of Ventari’s Will (the heal)
3. Make skills 6 thru 9 always affect you as well even if the tablet isn’t near, so you can keep yourself not dead and also make 2 bubbles of Protective Solace (one on you, one on tablet) which makes the upkeep worthwhile.
4. Make Elite skill behave like Ventari’s Will. The tablet glows bright yellow for 1 second, then charges between its current location and the target point, knocking back 5 targets on its way and giving superspeed to 5 allies on the path. Remove healing orbs on elite. Add 10-15 cooldown, but skill doesn’t destroy the tablet.
5. Add protection to Natural Harmony’s heal wave.
It’s not perfect, but at least it lets you sustain yourself while maintaining allies, better boon coverage (swift, regen, prot, supspeed), more cc and less management.
Hammer should be more defensive or something. Staff need better support or defense.

Totally a fan of these types of changes. +1
Suggested Ventari changes do look interesting.
My biggest gripe with Jalis is that Jalis is supposed to be the go-to legend for Stability, but Inspiring Reinforcement is just bad. It doesn’t last long enough, cover a large enough area, or provide enough stacks of Stability to be used pro-actively, while if you try to use it reactively, whichever CC you were trying to stop has already landed before you get the first stack of Stability.
Preface: Removing energy costs from weapon skills would fix many balance issues in my opinion, and should be the first change. The rest are functionality changes that are more logical.
Venturi: Make the tablet like scrapper gyros, it just follows you around until you instruct it do something somewhere. Could add a lot more utility to it, providing defensive utilities on the user as well as some ranged utility (primarily ranged heals)
Dwarf: lower CD on heal, lower energy cost on all skills. Increase the damage on the hammers, and increase stability application from the road. Make the elite skill also grant super retaliation so when you are struck it damages people.
Mallyx: don’t know, don’t play it
Shiro: reduce the cost of impossible odds slightly, maybe reduce the cost of the teleport slightly as well (from pvp stance, using the teleport to engage means you have no energy to use any weapon skills)
Glint: feels fine to me, but it feels kind of like rev was built around herald instead of herald adding on to revenant, which i dislike. Really sucks having upkeeps while weapon skills cost energy. Make the actives cost energy if weapon skill energy cost is removed.
