Ahoy fellow revenants!

I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we can give each other tips about how to get better at pvp while we fight the other filthy peasant classes It doesn’t have to be just theorycrafting but can be anything from small psychological advantages, builds, using the right skill at the right time et etc. What works for YOU? Any specific combos you like?

I put together a short clip with some pvp from the latest beta weekend, watching your own gameplay can truly help you learn and become better. I make tons of mistakes with timing and targeting etc but still I learned a lot.

• Hammer 3 can sometimes be worth using just for the evade/survival if your endurance is low
• Glint elite is absolutely brilliant at capture points
• Shield 4, use it even if you don’t have teammates nearby to buff, the extra heal is nice
• For sPvP and a glint/shiro build, so far knight stats feels best for me. What works best for you?
• Don’t get stuck with one legend, make sure to stance-dance to get all the might and fury from Glint and then switch to Shiro for the mobility
• Activate shiro heal before you go into sword 3 unrelenting assault, boom extra damage and healing

Let the caring and sharing begin

You can pop the Fury and Might Facets before or right after casting Unrelenting Assault and boost your damage through roof! You can also swap legends after casting Unrelenting Assault to get fury or useOne with Nature.

You can use Shiro’s Heal and block with Staff and actually get like 2 ticks of Enchanting Daggers off.

Comboing Offhand Sword immob with Elemental Blast(Facet of Element’s active) is awesome for getting some good damage off plus applying chill, weakness, and burning.

Lastly, you can combo Offhand sword 5 into Staff 5 to completely annihilate anyone without any stunbreaks or invulns left. As the pull will set them up right into your Surge of the Mists’ path.

Awesome, looking forward to trying that out

Overall being aware of that legend-swapping is possible while casting abilities is very valuable

Yeah definitely! I sometimes like to unrelenting assault defensively if I’m low on energy and swap legends while the skill is going to build up energy early before continuing the fight after UA is over, too.

Brilliant! Same goes for shield 5 I guess

Something I found I could do is run a tankier amulet such as Sentinel, keep my crit chance high with perma fury+roiling mists and then set up a huge burn onto my enemy by doubletapping both Facet of Nature and Facet of Strength, to dunk a bunch of snap-Might onto yourself and then 20 Vuln onto the enemy before going ham.

It basically gives you a small window of berserker damage whilst building more towards being a bruiser.

Some really good tips coming already in this thread, thanks <3

Seems like this would work great with sword 3 as well
